I liked one I saw a few months ago in the Lammermuir hills, from a distance it looked like the usual parent a child sign (warning of pedestrians on the road), then as you get closer it appears to be a man guiding his daughter, however when you near it you realise its a man holding hands with an alien :rolleyes:

Re the original post and image... Back in 1969 when I first got into cycling with my mate Frank, he brought that subject up - about the impossibility of the skid thing - when we were out on a ride one day. Ever since then whenever I've seen that sign, I've tried to work out whether it's possible or not. I'm still none the wiser. :wacko:

It's one of the little things I always enjoy, the fact that the chap is wearing wellies and they've drawn the little lip where they stick out at the back of his knee.
