Just bought a new Ridgeback Voyage from the LBS. It's a 2015 model, in blue.
I only went in for a cuppa!

Anybody else done similar?
I once went to buy a small top box to fit a KMX 200, and came out instead with a GSXR 1100. Next think I know I'm banging off the rev limiter at 90 in first gear, clinging desperately to the bars while my legs were flapping behind me in the slip stream.

Hehe, you as well. I went into my LMBS for a tube of rubber grease for my 1200 Bandit and came out with a Ducati. No regrets.
I completely understand. The Tigress and I loved our Ducatis, 5 of them over a few years.
Now I'm dribbling over a Wilier for what seems to be the same reasons. I'm being sucked towards the inevitable purchase and resistance seems futile.

I was ready to be impulsive, but, as I am usually skint, when I walked into my LBS I was ignored while staff waited on a carload of high-maintenance triathlete customers, who bought a lot of things while I was there. Unbeknownst, I had sold all of my N+ that morning, and was wandering around with about $1000 of non encumbered money in my pocket. Wound up putting it in the bank, gathering new N+, starting the process all over again.

I once wandered into a main Mitsubishi car dealership, fully intending to buy a new car for around £10000.
I sat down with the salesman, explained to him that I was pushed for time and could he work out a PX on my trade in and ring me at home with a deal. That was 8 years ago. I'm still waiting for the phone call..........
Needless to say, I purchased a different vehicle from another dealer.
