In between here and there
Ouch, nightmare at the moment roads are changing day to day plus all the water around.

GWS and enjoy a moderate heavy beer session..

Most anti biotics are OK with beer. Read the leaflet. Usually says "no known reaction with alcohol"

Probably be six weeks before I can ride again tho'.

Turbo !! Do it. They are good for things like this. I used mine whilst still in plaster. Unfortunately, turbos are no good when you have surgery on your nether regions !

Bet you are glad the plaster is off. My hand looked like something off Walking dead when it came out. All dried up, skin flaking off. Took weeks of moisturising to get it looking human again.

I do have a turbo but my new flat is so small I'd probably prefer to set it up in the little garden (a few paving slabs and a bike shed). Since it is continually raining I might consider the gym for a short period, there's a pay-per-visit place near me, going to take a look later.

It was only on a few days, in that time my hand had been replaced by someone else's- different colour, different shape and what's more it smelt funny.

By the time I got to it they'd filled it in. Here's a moody shot of the fixed hole.

That looks bad.

Anyone commute past a bus stop where there a dirty great massive dip where the asphalt's been dented? I think in warm weather the bus sinks, there a massive dip outside Norwich train station.

Even worse when you can't see it's there. No idea if a bus can cause that or just poor surfacing, but I've ridden over asphalt which looks perfectly smooth but has very nearly thrown me off when I rode over it.
