I quite like Ikea. I've got a few bookcases, a sideboard and other bits and pieces.
As a Brompton owner, I've obviously got a few Dimpa bags.
I just know that the wardrobes won't be worth taking apart and moving though...

They're fine in situ but are very flimsy and disintegrate if moved.

We had on in Mini Ds bedroom and it fell apart when we moved house. The large panels went up in the roof of the new garage as storage shelves, the rest in a skip.

Some of their bookcases and beds are surprisingly solid though. Just a shame you have to endure a visit beyond the known limits of physics to be able to buy one. Indeed, the Disney film The Black Hole was about the experience of buying a desk lamp from IKEA.

Agreed, they are not really dismantleable*.

*Is that even a word?

I have moved them in the past
you have to be VERY careful about what stress you put the frame under and what angles it comes from

The ones with several shelves move best - the ones with only a hanging rail are less well stressed

I found that if you look carefully there are doors between the sections that allow you do get from one point to another far quicker than teh authorised path
They are there for staff to use - who clearly can;t go round the sinuous loops marketing have designed to make you see everything properly
but they are jut doors - you can just wander through
You don't need to look that carefully; they're shown on all the stop maps, and are signposted! At least they are in Croydon.

I purchased a couple of book cases from Oak Furnitureland a couple of years ago. Both arrived badly damage. When we rejected them they offered us £100 back to keep them, a pittance on the £900 ticket price for both. When they came to pi them up the team collecting them said they were heading to be pulped, an indication to me on the poor quality of the product and the poor value for money they represent.

We replaced them with two bookcases from IKEA at a fraction of the price. I found A video of YouTube showing how to easily make them more robust than stock so, after spending £15 on some wood and an hour adding it in, I now have two bookshelves that I am very happy with.

We have an Ikea dining table that must be 35 years old or so with its original chairs. Kallax boxes are great for storing Bromptons and the Dimpa bags are great for carrying them around and also carrying a lot of stuff from house moves.
Can't fault them really and you don't have to go there now to buy the stuff.
Oh Billy Bookcase. We have several.

Am currently leaning on their solid wood kitchen workstation, looking at their solid wood extendable kitchen table and benches . All looking good after 13 years of sporadic use, solid as ever, and were good value. The laminate-covered MDF stuff they sell I'd not bother with though.

Recently visited the Southampton store with Mrs Tkk and we were looking at the kitchen tables and chairs. They seemed well made. Got confused in the lift when we realised there was no 2nd floor🤔.
Bonus was the Dancing Man pub being less than a 10 minute walk away 🍺
