We bought and fitted a complete kitchen a few years back, was well impressed with the quality and price.
They're fine in situ but are very flimsy and disintegrate if moved.I just know that the wardrobes won't be worth taking apart and moving though...
A friend's who knows tells me that older IKEA items are seriously collectible.

We had on in Mini Ds bedroom and it fell apart when we moved house. The large panels went up in the roof of the new garage as storage shelves, the rest in a skip.
Some of their bookcases and beds are surprisingly solid though. Just a shame you have to endure a visit beyond the known limits of physics to be able to buy one. Indeed, the Disney film The Black Hole was about the experience of buying a desk lamp from IKEA.
I quite like Ikea. I've got a few bookcases, a sideboard and other bits and pieces.
As a Brompton owner, I've obviously got a few Dimpa bags.

You don't need to look that carefully; they're shown on all the stop maps, and are signposted! At least they are in Croydon.I found that if you look carefully there are doors between the sections that allow you do get from one point to another far quicker than teh authorised path
They are there for staff to use - who clearly can;t go round the sinuous loops marketing have designed to make you see everything properly
but they are jut doors - you can just wander through

That's good
when I first found them they had bog signs on them saying "No entry - staff only"
but that was about a million years ago
Am currently leaning on their solid wood kitchen workstation, looking at their solid wood extendable kitchen table and benches . All looking good after 13 years of sporadic use, solid as ever, and were good value. The laminate-covered MDF stuff they sell I'd not bother with though.
