Totally agree with E. J. (or R. D.) on this.
These wastes of air time are just mindless drivle of the worst kind.
Big Brother has to be one of the most pointless; People at home sat on the couch watching people on tv in a house sat on a couch watching tv; Or even worse, watching them sleep. WTF is that all about?
At least this year X-Factor was not won by a person who cannot sing; This year is was won, instead, by 4 people who cannot sing.

Most programmes are celeb driven and aimed at the lowest common denominator these days.

Even "A night with the stars" which was a fairly high brow physics lecture with Brian Cox on BBC 2 had to have a celeb theme, and I am sure the target audience for that type of programme would have managed without the celeb aspect.

He, and his views, are clearly not representative of the majority of TV viewers......there's a reason those programmes are put on TV, they get huge viewer ratings

Great a post i totally agree with.If it wasn't for my girls.Both the wife and me would cancel the TV package we are on.Tripe most of it.Repeat after repeat.These last few nights i have turned it off and i am reading David Copperfield.
