Last week on the London-Surrey 100 ride, my Go Pro camera fell off my handle bar mount and bounced 30 feet down Whitehall. The Camera and case were undamaged.
However when I got home I found that the joint had snapped on the handle bar mount. I wrote to Go Pro and asked them what they thought about it, they replied promptly and asked for more details about the circumstances, and some photos of the mount, which I sent them. I wasn't expecting them to change it, though I only bought the mount this year, there was a chance that I damaged it, but I thought it would be worth asking the question to see what they would say. Also I noticed on their website comments that others had a similar problem with the mount.
Anyway, they said they would replace the mount free of charge. Which is nice. I'm a happy bunny.
