CharlieB

Junior Walker and the Allstars
I sometimes listen to our very own @CharlieB on Radio Harrow, Northwick Park Hospital radio on a Tuesday evening. Very good it is too !
Much appreciated @thegreenman, the object always being to provide a mix of the obscure and the not-so-obscure, but always steering away from the 240 song playlist that all the major commercials operate, and always guaranteeing the show will be Queen-free.

I use old phones for internet radio and one for playing rainy sounds at night or episodes of Becker/Frazier and Seinfeld get me off to sleep. The battery charge lasts for three nights.

They are real. Very real. Can't recall what they are called, mind.

It means that wherever I am in the world my hotel room at night always has something familiar to drop off too .....

One bluetooth clock radio, one mobile phone, one copy of BBC iPlayer, one wifi connection. Radio 3 breakfast comes to Seattle and that nice Martin Handley is with me, about 7 hours after he was with you all.
