.... giving stupid people in London a voice since....

Sometimes listen coming home from Heathrow. Last night’s debate was blue passports. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Fair play to the presenter ‘Mr Bull’ for at least attempting to make some kind of pig’s-ear from a pig’s-scrotum.
The Farage show is almost hillarious

If like me, you sometime wonder how the hell the UK got into the mess we’re in, LBC phone-ins offer a vital clue.

Are Nigel Farage and Katie Hopkins still some of their presenters?
It's the Daily Mail of radio.

I listen to LBC and 5Live during my work day. The BBC can be a bit too middle of the road so it is good to get a more nuanced opinion. It isn’t all right wing stuff.

James O’Brien and Sheila Foggartt are very good, although O’brien Can be a bit of an arse to some callers. They don’t let callers get off lightly with stupid or false comments. But they get the mid morning slots.

The drive time and breakfast slots are a bit too Daily Mail for my tastes.

And the least said about Farage the better, but he does take a fair share of calls from people who disagree with him.

LBC is owned by global, who also own Capital and Classic FM. They are all about making money.

I occasionally find myself agreeing with Ferrari, but the sanctimonious O'Brien encapsulates everything that is wrong with broadcasting in the UK. Essentially, if you don't agree with his politically right-on, liberal, remoaning views, you are a racist, sexist, fascist, ill-educated, upper-class bigot. I find it one of the funniest programmes on radio.

I used to listen to LBC when it was an interesting, balanced radio station. This was from 1973 when it was launched up until about 1990. Can't stand the presenters now. They talk over callers, butt in and generally only want to hear their own voices.
