Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
I occasionally find myself agreeing with Ferrari, but the sanctimonious O'Brien encapsulates everything that is wrong with broadcasting in the UK. Essentially, if you don't agree with his politically right-on, liberal, remoaning views, you are a racist, sexist, fascist, ill-educated, upper-class bigot. I find it one of the funniest programmes on radio.
So it didn't go well when you phoned in and he asked you to name what EU law or power you wanted to get rid of, then?

I don't mind James O'Brien, think he's genuinely quite thoughtful and can see other people's points of view, whereas bullies such as Ferrari never do.

Sadly, it used to be a good station, but it's just pandering to the Daily Mail/Sun readership these days.

Still enjoy Steve Allen from 4am - 7am

My sister, who is, quite frankly, an idiot, listens avidly to LBC. I was at her house one day when she had Katie Wotserface on ... I couldn't believe the cr@p I was hearing. My sister's job is recruiting people from abroad to work here, in the NHS. She voted for Brexit, and complains about the number of immigrants coming here. Her own (my own) parents were immigrants to the UK. Her daughter's boyfriend's parents were immigrants to the UK. The ex-Mr's Fnaar's dad came from immigrant 'stock'. You really couldn't make it up.

That is when I turn over to Planet Rock. I remember when he did the 'fatty fat fat' and 'basically' things, a typical leftist hypocrite nobber.
To be fair, he has to provide some output to the balance Farage. LBC have decided to promote debate by extreme and these are the consequences.
What about Fogerty..... Planet Rock also goes on!

Hopkins sadly isn't on there anymore but Maajid Nawaz is, who is also a great listen.

Nick Abbot is nearly the best on there but nobody can hold a candle to Steve Allen. The Steve Allen show is well worth podcasting and listening to at a saner time.

Also LBC is probably, and all the better for it, the gayest, in terms of presenters, talk radio station.

I can recommend the Steve Allen show which I have recently discovered. Is not a phone in and is on every morning from 4am til 7am Guy is quite amusing most of the time.

Don't ask me why I'm up at these hours.....
