In Praise Of Police

The police station by me (or Dudley South Operational Command Unit, as it is now known), has a nicely maintained window box. That is about the only positive thing that i can say about it. Just the thing to keep your spirits up while you wait in vain for somebody to answer the door .

This is the same police station where the building society over the road was robbed during the day a few years ago, and recently a pub fight spilled out into the road and ended up with some loon driving round knocking pedestrians down, outside the police station.

I bet it's nicer than Godalming cop-shop, which I don't think even has a window box. I'll take a picture.

Full of dibble, but actually opens for about 30 mins twice a week.

You couldn't make this stuff up even if you tried. It makes the Springfield force seem almost competent .
