Went to The Electric Ballroom in Camden last night to see PiL. 
Mrs 3BM made the comment that she'd have been horrified if, when she first saw PiL in 1982, she'd have be travelling down in a Volvo estate - but we're all a bit older now although no wiser. Rock 'n' roll ent we!
Lydon came on stage just before 9pm and said 'we'll do our best which by anyone else's standards is f*cking superb' - and he did, for over two hours.
He kicked off with 'Public Image' and then ran through a great set covering a lot of 'Metal Box' the bass on the song 'Religion' was enough to make the Richter Scale! They finished with songs such as 'Rise' and 'Open Up'.
Lydon's put together a cracking four piece band for this show and the music was first rate.
He stated the advert paid for the tour and if he makes enough he'll go back to the studio. At the end of the show some wag lobbed a packet of butter at him and he took it in good humour and thanked them for the 'Country Life'!
All in all one of the best live shows I've been to and I've been to a lot!!
