In praise of... Radio 4Extra

I bought some of the wireless ones for @Fab Foodie for his birthday. He used them for the first time last night and he now has a big smile on his face.

I have to say he didn't seem to snore as much and was certainly more settled and less figity.

Yep, the repeating the repeats needs sorting.

I'm a huge fan of radio comedy and it does irk that the classic hour is on three times a day, one of the more contempory hours is only on again once but then one of them is repeated again the next morning.

I wake at about 4am most days and between 4 and 10 there are 5 hours of comedy with a break between 6 and 7 but thats when the today programme goes on.

or the really scary ones!

Done that loads, left the radio on and in a light sleep where i@m just under the surface they get into my brain still. Some scary and disturbing stuff in the small hours.
