Some rockers (front men in particular) come across as total loons on stage but nice regular guys off it- Ogre (Skinny Puppy) springs to mind, and Trent Reznor (NIN), whom I've had the pleasure of meeting, is most definitely not the guy in his earlier works any more. Jaz, on the other hand…what with the frankly bonkers onstage ranting (in Pompey last year he for some reason felt obliged to take a pop at sailors, when I doubt any RN were in the house) and the off-stage antics (the alleged disappearances, the way the Cult/Mission tour got canned)....I saw him and his wife outside the Astoria before the show there in 2003. I didn't try and speak to him.....!!

Back on topic: QOTSA- oh yes. Kyuss- never got round to buying anything of theirs. OG- seen them twice now (Sonisphere '11, supporting Down- most definitely stoners, also), they're great.
