It's a shame that the background makes the blog unreadable.

Interesting...I've checked it on Mozilla and internet explorer and it's fine - what browser are you using? I could change the template but it can all go mental with the spacing etc if you do that.....
Assuming you're not using an iPhone or something?

The problem with the blog layout is that is effectively White-on-Black; very trendy but can be difficult to read and, because you have the background for the text semi-transparent, sometimes the blog background affects the legibility of the text further.

Layout is a bit broken as well cos one of your pictures overlaps the lower bits of "Black Prince road. Here you come" on my chrome install at least.

YMMV of course.

Thanks for the feedback! I've changed the blog to a more standard layout. Problem solved I think.
Cheers

There is much to be said for scenic routes. Its food for the soul and a chance to reward yourself for your efforts.

I used to ride the main road route into work but adapted earlier this year to take in some of the parks and tourist attractions...I dont regret it.

Part of my route looks like this now

Gosh, around 3:30 in, just before the Marble Archery bits, there's a cycle lane that's not in the left-hand gutter! There can't be many that guide cyclists along the right side of the lane. It's almost like it was designed by a cyclist!

Good to see the that the Go Pro HD Hero has a decent wide angle. So many mini cameras have too narrow a view. I modded my Flip camera to take a wide angle lens. Big improvement!

It has a few lens settings, this is the widest, there is a higher quality but with a smaller field...I think there is a taller one too.

its all a bit new to me
