indexing problems with new shifters

Hi I need some help.

I have just replaced my sram grip shifters with sram trx shifters on my commuter. It has a seven speed rear cog and sram rear mech. So why can't index it properly? It seems that the shifters don't have enough range, i can get 2 to seven or 1 to six. The limit screws are fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions

The TRX shifters are not compatible with the SRAM dérailleur. its that simple.

You need a shifter with the sram 1-1 ratio..
