just passin' through
A 100+ partnership for the 1st wicket and now both openers gone in a few overs of each other.

Are we going to see an infamous England batting implosion or will they hold on and scrape out a draw?

Jadeja is making life difficult for the left-handers, and I expect Ashwin will do likewise for the right-handers.

All will revealed over the next few hours.

Oh 'eck....

7 down, 1 hour 17 minutes of play left

Despite England seemingly going down the gurgler, a really good game of Test cricket. If India somehow fail to get the win I wonder if Kohli will regret allowing Nair get to 300. Surely if he'd dragged him off at 250 the game would be in the bag. Maybe with the series in the bag it was more important to let him get the milestone than increase the chance of a win

England lose the series 4-0, England have not played well but credit to India their bowlers in Indian conditions are a class above the English bowlers – It’s like taking a knife to a gunfight – England never looked like putting pressure on the Indians – The Indian batsmen were comfortable and were able to knock up the scores – I don’t think we should cry much about the result – simples they were better – maybe a little tear about the manner in which some of the losses came about – but I’ve enjoyed watching the Indians play - it’s something like 4 years before England have to go back – be nice if by then England could develop players with the mindset and technique to challenge them then

India are the World number one team on merit and it will be interesting to see how they get on away from home – shouldn’t do too badly – they have got the batsmen and some good seamers plus of course some not bad spinners – in the meantime I will be following the Aussie tour to India in February to see how they get on
