With 25c tyres either 18-25 tubes or 23-32 tubes will fit.

I guess the 18-25s would be a bit lighter but would the 23-32 ones be a little more p%&$£"ure fairy resistant ?

I really don't think it makes much difference, one may be lighter, but you're talking a couple of grams, nothing significant. As for UTDs, why would one be more prone than the other? The internal pressure being the same, they should be equally good.

If there's nothing else in it go for the smaller size as it's neater when sucked flat and taped into a tight roll to go in your pocket.

Volume of air will have some bearing on comfort of ride as well. Go larger wherever possible to maximise the comfort gains from the larger tyres.

Which tyres are you likely to go to next time? For me, there is no way I would go smaller than 23, I would only go bigger, so would get the 23-32.

Easier storage and easier fitting
This ^^^^. When you fit them the larger diameter inner tube will have a greater tendency to poke a bit of itself out when you're trying to get the second bead on.

The 18-25 inners will do fine, even if your next set of tyres is 28mm width. They stretch!

The volume of air is limited by the tyre not the inner. Did you read the OP?

the 25/32 should be fine. but i would go for the 18/25 tubes, thing with really large tubes if they fold over on them selves they can over time and use develop a wear ridge and cause a flat.

Thanks for replies.got the 18/25s on grounds of easier to stuff in to the tyre.
