I like 'innit' at least it is intentionally chav as opposed to, say, irregardless or prolly, innit.

Innit is just the lower class version of 'absolutely'. Both mean the same and are thus interchangeable, but the latter is posher and far more condescending

I think I first really noticed that ''So...'' preface when UK presenters were covering the Boston marathon bombing. Since then, I keep bumping into it. It's a bit like a ''let me order my thoughts'' opening.
