Elmer Fudd

Miserable Old Bar Steward
The government have said they are going to spend £800,000,000 on flood defences throughout the UK.

Insurers say the lack of Government funding will threaten the insureds cover, as if the Government (tax payers), don't guarantee their profits then they may well remove "flood cover" from policies.

So, if I pay a higher insurance premium to offset flood victims claims, when I will never be flooded or they use my taxes to help defend the insurance businesses profits.

Feels like a "No win, No win" situation.
