The unmistakable sound of Merlin engines overhead led me to this. Not sure why both planes didn't have a call sign.

as someone who really doesn't like flying I look at that diagram and shudder at all the bits which could go wrong.

You've missed one @PeteXXX - the 'aaaargh' line at the end.

The aaargh line at the end of Corfu runway is this road.

zooming that out to get to the Satellite view - the runway does have arrows on it

personally I would rather have pilots that were experienced enough to know which way to go though
