There were lots of egrets at Pitsford t'other day but they're very camera shy. Any time you approach them they hop or fly away!

It is tragic and an indictment on us as a species how much we sacrificed wildlife on the altar of decorating women.
Around here, there are crowds of Great Egrets in the marshes and drainage channels and in the country areas there are clouds of Cattle Egrets following cattle as their hoofs stir up insects.
If only the rest of the planet can recover once we stop devastating it.
