Hmm - is that based on where they start??
my first thought was that the 2 major roads I know in North Wales are the A5 and A55
but it is a "4" region
but they start in the "5" region
so I checked and all the others are "4"s so that seems right
As roads wiggle quite a bit, it must be where they commence (A5 is from Marble Arch, I believe)
Most of the A59 is in areas 1 & 6. Wonder how it was decided it started at Liverpool rather than York
