Intermittant noise on Mrs V's bike....

Its driving me mad...... Because she keeps nagging me to sort it....

Bit of background on the bike and noise... bike 2012 Boardman Race running 9 speed Sora. Noise is a click with each revolution of crank/pedals when its there..... took it to LBS and he ran it round the block both fast and slow (faster than its gone in Mrs V's ownership) but couldn't hear it.... so I then rode it and agreed no noise... got it home noise was back....

it does not make the noise when under low load i.e. on a workstand
It does not dissapear when you get out the seat so not a seat post issue....
chain has been cleaned and re oiled...
no excessive wear on block or chain and does not slip under load
no play in bottom bracket
indexing of gears bang on....

Pedals are newish alloy flats (been on 3 to 4 months) that turn freely with no notchiness but got some resin ones in the shed that I'll swap em for, to eliminate them

Suggestions? and i'll check all suggested solutions tommorrow

Every revolution? I would check for tight links in the chain.

I had sort of thought this but dismissed as its intermittant but I'll check each link for a tight spot
