Internal Gear Cable Housing Routing

Hi Folks
need to replace my rear derailleur inner cable housing/routing liner sheath (whatever the name for it is ^_^)
what is the standard size for this?
i measure outside diameter at 2mm
bike is nothing fancy, 2021 cannondale synapse

anyone any links to the product?
something from amazon would be good, would like to be riding this weekend if possible :becool:

It's called an outer cable, the actual cable is called the "inner"
Make sure you buy a replacment gear cable outer and inner.

ok, i think i get it now , the lining is just to help you route the new cable through the frame? it's not actually needed but makes things a hell of a lot easier...
i pulled the old liner out in my haste but i think it was causing issues anyway.

bought some cable liner and it was a little too thick. my rear derailleur cable needs to go through some sharp bends at the bottom bracket, specifically that little black router thing that plugs in at the bottom (which i'm sure has a proper name)
fine for a bare cable, a night mare for cable liner. i've just left the cable bare. cables were exposed on my old bike with no bother so...
internal cable routing definitely has it's pros and cons
