Once we take over all right handed people will be forced to use left handed can openers and scissors.

I'm left handed. It's dammed inconvenient especially when you never had left handed knives or scissors when growing up. My son is most unhappy because I taught his twin sons How to tie their shoelaces left handed.

I got so used to 'normal' scissors that when I inadvertently picked up a left handed pair a colleague had I couldn't use them!I'm left handed. I suspect the number of left handed people is higher than reported as I personally know of a number of people, not to much older than me, that were actively discouraged at school to use their left hands.
Let's see whether cyclists meet the 90-10 split. I work in social care, and from the informal "which hand are they writing with" count around meeting tables I'd suggest that in that arena it's more 70-30.

Same here. But can openers are a nightmare, especially the ones where you have to Bodge a hole in the top of the can and do a sawing motion. I always end up going backwards with those.

Anecdotally, at meetings of charity workers cack-handers can be in the majority. Sinister or what?
