Wow. There's some hugely intolerant people on here. Car drivers I can understand but the vitriol that faces helmet wearers, non-helmet wearers, DisabledRiders and, more recently, coffee shop frequenting children is surprising.

Before you tell me to shut up and go away, can I just say that I'm not complaining at all. If anything, I feel more at home here. Thanks.

I'm feeling the urge to start a "Most dog owners should be shot" thread soon - keep an eye out for it.

depends how you read a lot of this stuff, I dont take comments on a forum as real life

I suppose some would class me as intolerant based on my comments in the coffee thread, but I think I'd only be intolerant if I ranted and raved at people in the coffee shop as opposed to on a forum.

whereas in real life I'm a charming fellow - and helped a guy with his buggy in Westfield Stratford yesterday (even my wife was amazed)

I'm sure cyclists (as with motorists, or any other large 'group') have a wide cross-section of opinions.
