Not sure if this has been posted, but here's an interesting idea.

Not very cost effective for plain clumsy people I'd imagine

Been around for a while and if you can find the crash test videos on YouTube and run them through in slow motion you will find in not one of the crash tests did the inflated helmet contact anything - and that's with a crash test dummy that can't act to save itself. Personally I prefer Sheldon's version.
