iPod touch locked screen

Help !

My son put the Android lock app on his ipod, it's the thing where you have to join a set of dots in a specific pattern to unlock the phone. You guessed it, he's forgotten the pattern.
I've googled but can't find a way of unlocking or disabling the lock without erasing everything off the ipod.

Anybody know how to do it ?

Apparently

If you forgot your passwd, call your iphone answer it, type home when in call use cydia to remove app or remove the android lock plist out of /var/mobile/Library/Preferences

This assumes that you used cydia to jailbreak your phone and since android lock is a cydia app
I assume that is installed.

this will perform a factory settings reset, rejailing the ipod and deleting all the user content. no biggie if it's backed up in itunes, and certainly better than a brick…
