The bike is declared on the insurance, because HBOS gave us the first year for free we took everything we could, the excess is £100, going to phone them tomorrow! Police said the post office van never said anything about insurance, might look into cycling insurance just incase in the future
British cycling membership first year though quidco is your daddy, free 3rd party insurance, and the 10% off in halfords adds up over the year as can use it on car stuff too.

What's that cost?

I've only just started looking at bikes the now, still needing to phone the insurance but if 500 ends up being my limit what can or should I get for that kinda money?

Fair enough, is it just money off at halfords?

Having ridden into the back of van, how much more convincing do you need to take out the cheapest 3rd party cycling insurance (that we probably thought you already had)?

I have the T5, what condition and price?
Condition is it needs a new crankset £34.99 from decathlon last time I checked. We have new chain and cassette waiting to be fitted (both SRAM pg-850 & pc-850) condition is ok/good. Is the size right?
Wheels are shimano RS-501's but we may sell with fulcrum racing sports usual one or two chips etc. It has had a pannier track on for most of its life. We have touch up paint. Price depends largely on whether we replace the chainset before sale or if someone else does taking into account brand new but unfitted chain and cassette come with the bike.
It's one of the red ones BTW.

I don't know if you would be interested but I might be selling my Specialized Secteur. It's a 58cm frame (I am 5'11") in white, excellent condition, with the following upgrades.....
Tiagra shifters, Shimano RS20 wheels, Specialized All-Condition Armadillo (puncture resistant) tyres, Specialized Avatar saddle, Koolstop brake pads. No pedals fitted. I think it is a 2010 model (bought in 2011) and this is the original spec.. Looking for £300. I will add photos as I find them...... I say "might" be selling as I am going shopping later and I only have room for a limited number of bikes. If the bike I want is available, I might need to make space .
