I would have been mightily impressed if they had cycled round Arran - today. Been blowing a gale and hosing it down on the west side today. Just warming up for more of the same, and worse, tomorrow .

Ours froze overnight so pavements are treacherous. Haven't ventured out yet.

I thought ours would too but the rain has made sure that has not happened

It started snowing last night, it was pitch black when I left this morning. I'd say the wind chill at one point was -20°c.

And now its 22°c and all I've been able to smell all day is sulphur.

Hope you are having a good cycling time @Edwardoka and we expect great tales of derring-do when you return to not just the snow but we do really strong winds too ! (and they don't smell of sulphur .... some other things, yes but not sulphur )
