Just rain this morning, fun to be on ice tyres again, pedestrians turning around to check the strange sound, and dogs looking confused. 
But around 6pm I could see the ice starting to form on the paths out in deepest darkest Midlothian.
Clear spells predicted for the next few hours, to be followed by heavy snow starting in the early hours before daylight, later turning to heavy rain
and +11C
with winds gusting up to 46 mph ...

(and they don't smell of sulphur
