I did the London to Brighton in June, with about the amount of training you've done (mine was on roads, but with more hills). And I'm still unfit! You'll definitely do it.

I'll second (third?) the comments about drinking & eating - it's key. Good luck!

You are right about this it's not just a case of chucking a few chocolate cookies in the panniers before I set off. I always carry lots of fluids as well.

different tyres or another push bike is a good idea but my budget does not stretch to that at present
