Re: The Free Delivery Aspect
If it's just the free delivery, I looked at what I do buy from Amazon and a fair amount is actually consumables that I tend to keep "in-stock" eg nitrile gloves, WD40, masking tape, etc. So I keep a range of such items on my "Wish List" and mostly know what I have in stock so when I need something specific I add the general consumable items to the order to hit the free delivery threshold.

I never really need "next day delivery" so a few days delay in the order being picked is not important to me.

But what people might use Amazon Prime for can differ (eg Kindle, TV) so above would only apply to those only after the free delivery.

Tip that I am sure some of those who use Amazon already know. There is a website called camelcamelcamel where you can see price histories on items and set to be notified of price alerts if it hits your target price.

I buy quite often from Amaz*n, but I'm in no hurry for delivery (I'm an organize person lol) and there's always something I can add for the minimum charge.
I discovered that if you pick collect from locker (mine is 10 min walk away from home) some items are free of postage charge.
I've no nee of the video service, so, no, for me it's not worth it.
YMMV of course.

exactly the same for me, I used to have it, because oh it makes deliveries free, and they have some tv shows I might watch. and then I realised I was just buying stuff I didnt need anyway, Im rarely in a hurry for things, plus I can get them from a locker if needs be. I also found their tv shows werent that great, so it was an easy choice given the price to give it up.

now if I could just do the same with Sky TV, Id probably have alot more money to waste on cycling stuff

I recently got Disney plus free from Sky for some reason. It is terrible. I spent a while looking at it and couldn't find one single program that appealed to me. Not one. There were a couple of possibilities in the movies section but even there they seemed to have curated a huge library of samey looking straight to video tripe. Oh well, it's free.

My wife has Prime Video. She finds things to watch on. it. I don't think I ever have.

Dopesick is excellent on Disney+. I think it's the best streaming service for the US drama series (but obvs not everyone likes that sort of thing) & films (non Marvel or Marvel if you like your super heroes!)

We've had a few trials of Prime between us, and it's ok, could be considered useful for next day stuff etc, but I would never subscribe for the entire year.

Imho, 95% of items they sell, are also available to be delivered free (Even if under £35 order total) to a pick up point - I appreciate not everyone is in the same position, but I have one place about 1 minutes walk away, and another one maybe 4 minutes away.
It's very convenient to get items delivered there, as you don't need to be in, or worry about them leaving it in plain view to be nicked.
We have a prime sub for this month which my partner took out, and she ordered a new phone on Saturday, but as we were likely to be out on Sunday, she had it delivered to the nearest collection point.

I do like Reacher, so I would consider taking out a months sub, or a trial to watch the latest series when it appears, but aside from that, I don't really see the real value.
