Again, lack of driver education, why is this not included in driving theory test?

I was trying to explain buggi's point above to my GF and her mates over the weekend.

I suggested an additional part to the test, not hazard perception on a scree but actually passing the hazard safely, it could be done in a designated area at a driving school.

They thought I was mad, her friend even suggested that there should be a campaign from the drivers of England to ban all cyclists from the roads which would therefore eliminate the problem without resorting to a restructuring of the driving test.

I smiled and ignored her from there on.
