Is it anti social bringing a bike on a train?

It's not. But sometimes in some areas not allowed, for obvious reasons.

Like on rush hour. And not a fold up bike.

Most, if not all the trains I've travelled on (with bike) have a designated cycle storage area on the middle carriage/s.
The loud drunken football fans travelling to & from matches on a Saturday afternoon...they can be very anti-social!^_^

No, put bike in the cycle storage (there are stickers on the outside of carriages with cycle storage next to the door for you to use to put your bike on the train) so use these.

Whether you use “bring” or “take” generally depends on your point of reference for the action. You ask people to bring things to the place you are, and you take things to the place you are going.

So you could bring your bike with you from home, but you would take it on the train.

But i would bring my bike on the train - as it's part of my luggage. The purpose of the trip is to get me somewhere, not to take the bike somewhere. Unless of course, i was taking the bike somewhere eg to sell it....

No, you would bring it to the station and take it on the train.
