Took us about 30 minutes to get home from the bloody supermarket this afternoon... 1 farkin mile. Someone did roadworks. Hateful....

Turned the tunes up, but you could hear folk getting ratty, honking, driving like loons. Tunes were good !!!

I'll stick with my bike.

Saturday afternoon + car + shopping =

Its crap. I actually had to go to Halfords to get some laquer. Some bird poop has eaten the missus car roof - literally... Then the missus wanted to come via 'the shops'....

My day has been strip and clean kitchen, wash two cars inside and out (missus car was a tip - mine was fine) then get ruddy paint.. grrr

I used to drive the 5 miles to work in nose-to-tail traffic, park up (at a cost of £300 per year) and walk 15 minutes to the office. Absolute madness, yet millions still do it every day. The English love their cars like Americans love their guns.

I'm just grateful that I saw the light.

23+ mile round trip for me too.

I'll ride in rather than the car any day; I'm quicker than in the car with less hassle. That's beside saving £10+ each day as well.
