its a standard wind pattern here, generally if its a head wind on the way in it's move to a crosswind on the way back, you kind of get used to it and then on the rare days it's a tailwind you feel like almost like a pro.

headwind this morning had petered out so no tailwind this evening. still did the 7 miles in a shade under 20 minutes tho . Hit the green wave perfectly and did bow to stratford very sharpish. pity today was the day that i set endomondo going only for the thing to pause before i was moving properly. cest la vie 21mph average

BBC predicting 2mph winds for tomorrow morning, hope they are right

Its settled down for a few hours today, it was supposed to be 7mph winds breeze for my commute this morning and 5mph breeze at lunch (felt like that when I popped out for lunch) unfortunately is supposed to get back up to 18-20mph gusts this evening; I hope the forecast is wrong!

Had some pleasant relatively wind free rides over the last week, with average speeds of between 14.7 and 15.7 mph as a result, but the weather forecast for later this week does not bode well - expecting much lower averages....not that I'm really bothered about fast averages, it is just the battle with the wind that gets to me.
