It already has a name (model), so I dont need to name it ;)
You beat me to it! I call mine 'Basso' (knockabout road bike), 'Cannondale' (best road bike for sunny rides when I'm fit) and 'Rock Lobster' (hardtail MTB). Oh, and 'Gym bike' - that's the one that never leaves the house!

I've never understood folk who name their cars (or their bikes) or why they call them shes or hes. They are all inanimate objects surely?

Location
Rammy
I name my bikes, currently have Izzy an on one inbred and hallie a Carlton road bike

my bike history has been:
foxy, a 90s muddy fox - stolen from parents garage.
Hannah, specialized hardrock - stollen, mugged riding home, recovered, stripped and sold
Vicky, specialized hardrock, crash damaged, twisted frame
parts of vicky were used to build izzy

at the same time as owning vicky I had a jump bike I called miss lizzy
the frame of which was sold and replaced with an orange msisle that I called ms lizzy
she was stripped and sold to fund the re build of hallie, the Carlton

my wife has laura, a trek mtb and wispa a trek fast track based road bike I built

my mk1 fiesta was called Flick, Amelia's Suzuki swift is called Suzie, although I have another name I use when it breaks down. My car is called the tardis due to it being small, square, blue and being able to fit more stuff in it than a friends astra estate.

It does help when you get more than one. For instance I go shopping on the "Hovis" (Hovis livery Delibike) Commute on "The Cat" (Catrike recumbent) and Tour on "The Thorn" (Thorn Nomad)

Maybe not "Names" but every single one of our 20 bikes has a descriptive term
