Oil the asparagus then toss in onto a very hot griddle and cook it to the point where you think, "that's probably enough" then give it a few more minutes. Drizzle with garlic crushed into olive oil and freshly cracked pepper.

Tastes fantastic, and pretty much goes with anything or on it's own.

Your pee will STINK until the next day, but well worth it!!

Trim your asparagus and throw waste bits away
Pick up the remaining aspargus tips, throw those away as well.
Fetch bread and bacon and make bacon sandwiches instead.
