Is it raining anywhere other than the Lake District in the UK today?

We had 2 minutes of rain in Greenwich at 2pm (whilst I was sitting in a pub garden).. it's just over cast now, but still warm.

Bit of a sanity check really.

Saturday was lovely.

Yesterday it rained most of the day.

Today it is rain, rain, rain and horrible claggy grey-ness. Just had a T-storm (I have used that abbreviation as I notice the weather forecast sites do these days and they are always right about everything).

So....here's hoping you are all having a wet one today otherwise I will go out of my mind.

What's the score where you are?

60 mile loop in the rainless Surrey hills today!

I managed to avoid the worst of the rain this morning and was indoors when the worst of it fell, which was the only good thing about being where I was. Blue skies and white fluffy clouds as I cycled home this afternoon. It's gone a bit grey and gloomy now but the Met Office are suggesting that's that until Thursday.

Apart from Mr Rauk the replies are helping so far.
Sadly there is a reason it is called The Lake District.................other than it having lakes of course
It has been sunny all day in Warrington..........just one short shower while we were in a restaurant having lunch
Seriously...........I like to holiday in this country and we dont ask much.........just a week of half decent weather in the middle of summer. Seems that is too much to ask:wacko:

As wet as can be in wiltshire from breaking camp till lunctime. Suns shining now though and hopfully going to remain warm and dry overnight so I will have some dry shoes and socks in the morning.
That will teach me for going camping on the bike in a british summer! Must admit that yesterday was nice though.

Friday,Saturday and Sunday were Ok up here,Friday in particular, blue skies, warmth, and most of all,no wind,so out I went!Yesterday, well that wasnt too bad either,if anything quite humid but with a fair wind from the West.Mind you,its about time we got some respite dont you think! Today however was an odd day round here,a bit grey and humid and then, just after dinner/lunch/scran(!) a sudden and violent rainstorm for about 10 minutes.Since then lovely and the sunset across Solway has been superb.Nivver mind marra, just think of all those tourists looking up at the skies with faces that would be a winner at Egremont!:okay:
