Beach volleyball (yum yum) just wont work in Blighty.The beach will be made of pebbles, a la south coast, it'll be wet and windy, and the lasses will all be wearing cardigans to keep warm.

Whilst agreeing this is no sport for the southern softies, I would nominate Newcastle as the prime location with its miles of golden sand close by, and its lasses famed for their ability to withstand cold whilst scantily clad.
