Is it worth 50p.

I have just sent off the cards i have to post.Only 12 of them,the other 20 i take out myself.
So having paid out £6.I was wondering if there will ever be a postage rise that will kill off the 'umble Christmas card.I have found out one of our much older friends actually rings people up and TALKS to them.All this because of her phone contract.So will the card ever go,any thoughts.

Not a surcharge, but correct cost. 88p for airmail IIRC.

I posted a card to Australia this week. £7 something or other.

Mind you in the envelope along with the card there were cards for the whole family, 8 in all so. I guess less than a quid apiece to get all that way is not so bad.

Yes I am, electronic ones that can printed by the recipient if he/she wishes too. 21st century and all that.

I suppose it is good for the planet with less waste but if someone sent me one I would just tear it up
