Most of us send cards by e-mail now, cost nothing and is much quicker.
Oh no we don't......

Sorry couldn't resist, and it's almost on topic.

I like proper cards coming through the letterbox, and don't send e-cards. Mind you, why not meet halfway and get funky pig to send all your cards for you (if you happen to have spare money of course..)

"We" only send them to old people and fanatical christians. By we, I mean I send them to Mrs F's old people and fanatical christians. All my rellies are beyond bothering about.

I send to hubbies rellies (4 of them), 2 or 3 close friends who we don't live very near and that's the lot.
Can't stand cards myself, cluttering up the windowsill and making the place look a mess.

The ones I post, go second class and I think that its worth the money. Something going to Scotland for 40p or whatever second class is nowadays, is not too shoddy a price to have something delivered to Sis-in-Law's door.

They all end up in the bin. Who wants them on display all year?

What I meant was that they end up in the bin the same day they're given. I've seen many a colleague throw their card in the office recycling bin before leaving work that day.

Yes but does that account for the fate of the rest of the cards that are not distributed within offices?
