My trusty payg Nokia 6303 which I've had a couple of years took a hit yesterday when it got a really sharp flat bash. There's no visible damage anywhere but on powering up, the screen glows rather than leaping into action. It will turn on and off, but the 'lock keypad' function doesn't work - can't tell from the screen obviously but it always beeped when I pressed the right combination of keys before, and it's not beeping now. When I connected it to my pc using the mini usb cable I can see the folders on the phone and move files about, though initially the phone did keep disconnecting. Just having a glow on screen makes it hard to tell what's happening.
So - an economic repair or is it time for a new phone, you think?
