This always makes me smile.
My wife wanted a simple no frills phone, so we bought a "Doro"
Large keyboard, calls and text only
Then she forgot it one day and borrowed my Iphone, within two weeks she had an Iphone of her own
My wife has one of those, they're an excellent basic phone.
It was the sudden conversion from this to the IPhone that amazed me!

When I had the Nokia folder my wife would borrow it when she was out of credit, the first time she picked up my new smartfone she just looked baffled, I think there's no chance of a conversion in our case, have you worked out what changed her mind and brought on the conversion?

I remember it took forever to dial those, especially when you were used to touch tone phones. My Father kept his until the 1990s. He used our cellphone once, and proclaimed it a miracle, but an uncomfortable miracle, at that.I used to use one of those. They were a pain to dial numbers with.

My phone is getting dangerously close to either a visit from the hammer or a trip into the nearest river!
It just does random things slowly, you can almost hear it's brain ticking (very slowly) when you ask it to do something, you know like phone some one. The black blank screen come up for up to minute, which is quite normal but the other day I managed to ride a mile (I gave up waiting for it to make the call) before suddenly realising it had executed my command and they were now trying to speak to my trouser leg. Other times it decides to phone a different person to who you ask it to! And it keeps failing to log my Strava rides too!
This HTC needs a care home to live out the rest of his days! Which if he stays with me isn't going to be long!

I'm obviously too thick or Siri doesn't speak the same language as the most frequent thing I say to it on my iPad is go away and it doesn't! I've never really worked at building a relationship to get the most out of it. Perhaps I should.
