I heard an interview on the radio while a go with, I think, the bloke who runs Esure. You know the ads (Micheal calm down dear Winner)

It seems he had the company running for a while with only moderate success when they switched the style of advertising from the sort that merely gives you information to the sort that are more 'in your face' or are downright irritating. Cue a massive explosion in the amount of business.

Those ads work it seems, it's a sad and sorry fact.

And threads like this prove that they work. Get people talking about your ad (for whatever reason) and the name of your brand spreads, and the law of averages dictates that somewhere along the line (whether the discussions are of a positive or negative nature) people are going to have a look at what you sell and probably also then buy.

I am more concerned about the dodgy standard of dancing, I can dance better than the featured 'cavegirls' and I bet I could carry ot off with my moobs in a fur bikini.

Surely the responsible attitude when finding a driver who is uninsured would be to inform the Police, rather than sell and backdate the policy

And to top it off. The latest Wonga.com adverts appear to be targeting the elderly/pensioners!
