Getting adverts at the top and also a notification count (the bell icon) of 64!

Usually in single figures.

I have rebuilt the caches, but as this seems localised to a small number of members, it would help if you could post screenshots of your account setttings (https://www.cyclechat.net/account/preferences), specifically:

• Content options
• Push notifications
• and the Alert Preferences section

I have also installed a new add-on Persistent Alerts. The default software behaviour is not to alert again if you don't revisit the thread. This should help with that, but you need to enable it on your account.

Go to ... https://www.cyclechat.net/account/preferences#alerts ... and enable Generate new alerts without reading threads and then click the Save button at the bottom to enable it on your account.

Solved the adverts appearing. My £9 subscription had expired. The reminder had been buried in the 64 alerts I received. Have re subscribed.

Have clicked on all the alerts and all 64 have been cleared. So maybe ok now.

Will monitor.
