My sister's tumble drier is playing up. She lives too far away fro me to go round and tinker it to destruction, so I was wondering if anyone might be able to advise, before she calls anyone in (she's a bit skint).
She says: "on the 20 minute programme or the full dry programme the same thing happens. It starts off quite happily and does perhaps a dozen rotations, then it stops and tries to do reverse revolutions and as soon as it starts to do the reverse revolutions, it trips the electrics."
Oh, she did also say that the first sign something was wrong was "when, with no warning, I lost all electricity."
Does that sound like a worn out bush in the motor? Either way, any thoughts on whether it's likely to be a fix worth fixing, or whether she should just cut her losses and get a 'new' one on ebay for a ton?
Thanks if you can help.
