Is this the house that Jack built or what???
I am unlucky enough to be surrounded by trees, and have more garden than I can cope with, so, this morning I set out with the strimmer, it worked for about 5 seconds and then no more. After 2 hours sat on a cold drive with a selection of screwdrivers and a multimeter I had it working again.
Then, after 2 hours of clearing the garage roofs (mine and next door) of leaves and pine needles ( with my water I must add), they couldn`t even be bothered to say thankyou, even though they saw me up there when they came home....................
Then, on sweeping up the final carnage, I used my dustbin to collect the sweepings, the handle falls off and now I need a new dustbin. Then at the end of the garden, where the chimnea is, I sweep round it, and it promptly falls to bits, falling on my foot and mangling my big toe nail
Was I wrong in using plenty of foul language? As my other neighbour looked at me like I was nuts, but by then I had gone past caring..............
